Territoires improbables

Musée Beaulne, 96 rue de l’Union, Coaticook, Québec, Canada, J1A 1Y9

Building an imaginary world where abstraction and figuration intertwine to see the birth of a better world: such is the philosophy of this exhibition composed of a series of paintings inspired by recent events concerning territories and their natural resources. For several years, many social issues have been affecting territories. This exhibition is a project inspired by recent events concerning the territories and their natural resources. The artist seeks to create poetic and playful universes, to build an imaginary planet where abstraction and figuration intertwine to see the birth of a better world. Nature is a great source of inspiration: the forest, the water, the earth, the animals all live in these spaces in symbiosis. Improbable territories, fabulous places where sharing would be equitable and life more harmonious. The corpus of the exhibition is made up of around twenty half-abstract, half-figurative paintings, two installations and two sculptures.
