Regard intérieur

Musée Beaulne, 96 rue de l’Union, Coaticook, Québec, Canada, J1A 1Y9

Painter Diane Héon presents « Regard intérieur » with portraits of women that reflect her perception of femininity and the evolution of their individual growth.

The representation of the feminine universe in art particularly appeals to the artist Diane Héon. In a complex and changing world, where the expression of femininity evolves, each woman embodies her authenticity according to her experience and her values. Her paintings therefore present female portraits, which carry the emotions, doubts and aspirations experienced in the inner journey towards personal integrity. Her inspiration is linked to a form of quest, that of a feminine ideal imbued with awareness and lucidity.

In the proposed exhibit, the gaze of the subjects takes on a significant place, because the eyes are the resonance of inner states and feelings. Through this, the artist tends to translate the moods of these women to evoke tranquillity, confidence and a feeling of freedom, as much in fragility as in strength.

The exhibition presents a collection of acrylic paintings, in a figurative style, bearing the title « Regard intérieur » which means “Inner look”.
