Input d’humanité

Musée Beaulne, 96 rue de l’Union, Coaticook, Québec, Canada, J1A 1Y9

In response to the multiple challenges imposed on us by the COVID-19 pandemic and which are forcing us to recondition our beliefs and collective values, Hélène Béland-Robert presents « Input d’humanité » a corpus of sculptures and digital images.

Through sculpture and digital images, Hélène Béland-Robert reacts to the many current challenges that force us to recondition our beliefs and collective values. She uses the cube as a representative for the pixel. Full or empty, it metaphorizes social relations and human abilities to adapt to change. We are witnessing an opposition between the organic and the virtual.

Expo 67, the Olympic Games and studies at Concordia University led the artist to question the individual's state of mind under technological domination. « BÉÈRE » (Hélène Béland-Robert) has an academic training but above all from an apprenticeship through constructive encounters with other artists in the milieu. Multidisciplinary, illustrator, follower of the Dada and Recycl'art movements, she illustrates at times, humanity through shapes, colors and current topics.
