Dans mon jardin d’hiver…

Musée Beaulne, 96 rue de l’Union, Coaticook, Québec, Canada, J1A 1Y9

Done with acrylic paint, Patricia Lapointe's art is a celebration of life through the use of vibrant colors. She explores fauna, flora as well as playful characters in her artistic expression. By creating unique scenes, she invites spectators to lose themselves in a vibrant garden where pleasure is guaranteed.

The exhibit features around twenty paintings created in a variety of formats, ranging from small easel paintings to larger canvases that dominate the space. A tribute to the beauty of nature and the characters who inhabit it.

A graduate in Visual Arts from UQTR, Patricia Lapointe's professional career has diversified between secondary school teaching and, more recently, scenography in theater and musicals at Cégep de Victoriaville. She participated in several symposia, notably in Victoriaville in the fall of 2023, in Ste-Flore in 2023, in Candiac in 2023, in the Lambton symposia in 2017 and 2018, as well as in Nicolet in 2015. In addition, she participated in several solo exhibitions, at the Maison de la Culture de Warwick in 2020, as well as at the Cégep de Victoriaville and Saint-Lambert in 2019. Her involvement in the Bois-Francs artistic scene materialized through various group exhibitions. At the same time, she led painting workshops, both in her personal studio and in associative contexts.
