The acquisition of a remotely piloted aircraft commonly called “Drone”, in 2018, led Marc Hébert to crisscross the region from the air in order to see the MRC of Coaticook from a completely different angle. From the air; the landscapes, the waterways, the village and urban agglomerations take on a completely different appearance and reveal certain secrets. The MRC of Coaticook has 13 municipalities, the photos are countless and each season has its own special charms.

A native of St-Herménégilde, Marc Hébert made his debut as a wedding photographer in the 1970s. Having operated a professional photography studio for nearly 20 years, Marc Hébert has not lost his passion for photography.

He is co-founder of a Photo Club and teaches photography to young adults as well as Level 2 students as part of the international competition “Capture your Heritage”; photography does not hold many secrets for him. The sale of his business gave him the opportunity to travel throughout the MRC in search of superb landscapes. For 3 years now, he has been traveling with his drone with a bird’s eye view « VOL D'OISEAU » and it is these photos that he wants to show us in this exhibition.
